The “Time Travel” Kit and the new downloadable Passport pages!

In October 2024, the regional marketing project ‘Il Viaggio nel Tempo’ was launched. This project brings together various promotional and marketing tools in the form of a ‘Traveller’s Kit’. This consists of a cardboard folder containing a map of the Walled Cities of Veneto, an information brochure outlining the Walled Cities, the comic book ‘Merlì 2.0, La guida turistica del tempo’, and a ‘Lasciapassare’, a booklet designed to look like a real passport.

The kit is eye-catching and elegant, containing materials that are both impactful and highly useful for tourists. It was also designed bearing families and children in mind, introducing the idea of touring the walled cities and conveying historical content in a contemporary comic-book style, using modern visual language.

The project has received praise from Luca Zaia, President of the Veneto Region, as can be seen in this letter.

On September 28, 2025, a new version was released, including all 34 municipalities that are members of the Association. You can now download and print the pages for the 11 municipalities that were initially missing and add them to your ‘Lasciapassare’ if you have the old version of the kit featuring only 23 walled cities!
